What’s the Difference Between Pads, Rotors, and Drums?

Brake pads, rotors, and drums are all parts of your car’s braking system, but they work in different ways. Brake pads press against rotors (the flat discs) to stop the wheels, while brake drums use brake shoes that push against the inside of a drum to slow the car.
